Beaches – Public access to all municipal beaches with the exception of Sunset Beach will be permitted effective Saturday, June 27, 2020.
PLEASE NOTE: The municipality is authorizing access only. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. The Windsor Essex County Health Unit will NOT be performing weekly beach inspections or testing beach water for the presence of E.Coli for the 2020 season.

BY FERRY (Owen Sound Transportation) – The ferry service has now ended for the 2020 season. Please see www.ontarioferries.com for more information and details. Some restrictions may apply. Call 1-800-661-2220 to book a reservation.
BY PERSONAL WATERCRAFT (Scudder Marina) – If traveling to Pelee Island on your personal vessel, visit Scudder Marina for more details.
BY PLANE – Flights run daily from Windsor to Pelee Island during the winter months. The most southerly international airport in Canada is found on Pelee Island with coordinates and radio frequency found in the Flight Supplement Manual. Offering a 3,300 foot paved runway, both private aircraft and regular flying schedules use the Pelee Island International Airport.

Please note: To prepare for the reopening of more businesses in the region of Windsor-Essex and to further protect the community from COVID-19 Dr. Ahmed [has issued] a class order. This new class order effective 12:01 a.m. on June 26th, 2020, requires all owners or operators of a commercial establishment in Windsor-Essex to prohibit the entry of any person who is not wearing a face covering, unless the person cannot wear one due to medical reasons or age.
