2025 Pelee Island Marketing & Advertising Campaign
We are happy to share with you our 2025 Pelee Island marketing initiatives through the Township of Pelee!
We are pleased to introduce new in 2025, the opportunity for inclusion of our brand-new interactive map with your purchase of a digital listing! Giving visitors a searchable, easily updated map right in their hands will improve access to information for all visitors and help Pelee Island businesses get relevant details out to the visiting public throughout the year. Deadline to submit your marketing application is Monday March 3, 2025.
Business Registry
As per Resolution 2024 – 130, any business, not for profit or co-operative organization operating in the Township of Pelee is required to register with the Township. This registry is free of charge, updated annually, and is also required to be submitted by a business/organization in order to be included in any Township of Pelee marketing initiatives including the What’s Open page, brochure and all other digital listings. This registry will allow for better access to basic business information for both the public and municipality as well as ensure any businesses listed in any Township of Pelee marketing initiatives are operating businesses. The business registry page will be available on pelee.org and include general business information such as business name, and contact information.

Digital Marketing
In 2025 we will be piloting a brand-new mapping software, which will allow for several interactive digital maps to be included on our website with QR codes posted in various points of interest. One of these maps will appear similar to our annual brochure, but with the ability to make edits and changes throughout the year, add a photo, include more details than the brochure and even include a direct link to your business. This new interactive map will benefit both local businesses and tourists alike. This tool works best when everyone participates. We hope each business on Pelee will support this initiative to have better informed visitors on Pelee Island. In addition to the new interactive map, our digital marketing option will continue to include a full listing on pelee.org as detailed in the attached application.
Brochure
Rest assured we will still be developing a 2025 brochure as we know many tourists enjoy and utilize the physical brochure while they are on Pelee. We will also continue to send brochures to tourism destinations across the province to encourage new visitors to Pelee in 2025!
Application deadline for paid options is 4:30pm on Monday March 3rd, 2025. Free listings can be submitted at any time, though we encourage submitting your details as soon as possible to gain the most exposure on the What’s Open? page before the tourist season begins!
Return the attached form with Payment to the Township of Pelee by email info@pelee.ca or to the Municipal Office in person.
Due to Regulations regarding Small Drinking Water Systems and service to the public, only accommodations connected to the Township water system or that have a regulated small drinking water system, inspected by the Windsor Essex County Health Unit, will be approved for posting.
