Nestled beneath the leafy canopy of Pelee Island’s Carolinian climate, the East Park is Canada’s southernmost campground. Twenty-two private campsites and two group camping areas offer idyllic, family-oriented accommodations for both novice and experienced campers. Fully serviced washrooms and a campground store provide the necessities for a day of picnicking or an overnight stay. Indulge in solitude, or get active on the baseball diamond, basketball or tennis court, or East Beach, all located within steps of the campsites. A stunning natural setting teeming with melodic wildlife makes the East Park Campground an ideal location for your Pelee Island getaway.

“Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference.”
Kathy Calvin
Through the generosity of community members Cal and Dianne Caywood, and Dave DeLellis, a full-court basketball and tennis court became part of the East Park’s landscape in 2018. The campground’s activity field is also equipped with a baseball diamond and enough open, grassed space for large picnics, star gazing, and kite flying when Pelee breezes blow. Pick-up soccer games foster friendships between community members and those embracing Pelee as their summer playground.
“The power of community to create health is far greater than any physician, clinic or hospital.”
