East Park Campground

Let’s Re-Create Vacation in 2026!

2026 Reservations are now OPEN!

Camp sites at East Park Campground are available starting

May 1st, 2026 to November 8th, 2026.

BOOK HERE

East Park is Canada’s southernmost campground offering family-oriented sites for both novice and experienced campers.  Each campsite is nestled beneath the leafy canopy of Pelee Island’s Carolinian Forest and is steps away from swimming and sunning at the East Beach, hiking trails, a public playground and pavilion, campground store and washroom facilities.

Indulge in the solitude of the outdoors or get active at East Beach Park, including baseball diamond, multi-sport court or the shallow sandy East Beach.   A stunning natural setting teeming with melodic wildlife makes the East Park Campground an ideal location for your Pelee Island getaway.

“If I could eat the scenery, I’d live here.”

Ralph Allgood

East Park Beach, Park and Sports Fields

East Park Beach is shallow, sandy and steps away from the campground.  Please note this beach is not supervised and no lifeguard is provided.   Parking is provided in the grassed area along East Shore Road.  See Site Map for more information on Park features.

East Park includes a public pavilion, playground equipment, multi-sport court, baseball diamond and a large open recreational field area suitable for large picnics, a match of soccer or cricket, stargazing and kite-flying.   Visit the campground store to borrow a piece of well-loved sports equipment during your visit including basketballs, pickleball paddles, baseball bats, tennis rackets and balls for each!

In hopes that footprints are all that are left behind, please use the garbage and recycling receptacle located across from the beach’s entrance and within the playground and park area.  Considering cleanliness and the sensitivity of our irreplaceable eco-system while creating your memories on Pelee Island is appreciated.

Pelee Island would like to acknowledge the generosity of community members Cal and Dianne Caywood and Dave DeLellis for making the full-sized multi-sport court a part of the East Park’s landscape in 2018.

“A community is like a ship; everyone ought to be prepared to take the helm.”
