Spring Wildflower Walk

10:00 am – 11:30 am
May 17, 2025

Look down and see what is happening on the ground!  Join Lynn Tiessen and John Ambrose for a wildflower walk at Fish Point.  Spring wildflowers are a delight for their colour and brightness, but their primary role is to attract pollinators of various sorts to ensure seed set and propagation of their species.  How their seeds are disbursed is another interesting story happening at ground level.  Being an isolated island leads to other intriguing influences on what species are here and how dominate each becomes.  Many mysteries to be explored!
