Committee’s 2014-2018

Committees are established to assist Council and provide opportunities for community involvement and participation.  Committees are advisory in nature and function within their mandate and the procedural by-law.  Citizen representatives are appointed in a voluntary capacity to bring local knowledge, expertise and experience for specific areas of civic concern.

The Township of Pelee has members currently appointed for 9 committees for the term of Council.  Council is anticipating that the committees will play an enhanced role in defining the future of the Township and looks forward to a revitalized relationship between Council, committees and the citizens we all represent.

For more information on Committee members and mandates, please select the committee of interest from the menu below.
