Pelee Art Works

Pelee Art Works was established in 1995 to create a centre for arts and culture on Pelee Island. Housed in a historic building, this community initiative mirrors the thriving and resourceful spirit of the Island community.

Pelee Art Works features the work of many local artists, photographers, potters, weavers, woodworkers, authors, jewellers, textile artists, artisans, and more.

At Pelee Art Works you can discover unique arts and crafts, gift items and Pelee souvenirs. These one-of-a-kind hand made gifts support the work of local and regional artists and artisans. During our May - October season you can sign up for a variety of adult and children's art classes.

We welcome you to learn, discover and experience a unique part of Pelee Island though our local arts and crafts centre. Peruse the many and varied types of arts and crafts and take home a reminder of the peaceful beauty that is Pelee Island.
